About This Project
“The real power of Christianity is the risen Jesus. We all know that Christ went to the cross as a sacrifice for our sins, but it is the power of Jesus resurrecting that creates the very reality of who we are as Christians. The Resurrection of Jesus Christ tells the rest of his story beyond that sacrifice, a story of love, hope, and power that kept a brutal sacrifice from being the end of the story.”- Executive Producer David Wood
On the opening weekend of the film’s worldwide release it will not only be shown in movie theaters, but we will also stream it live to churches, homes, schools, hand-held devices, such as Smart phones, tablets, computers, and lap tops around the globe. By using this streaming technology this will be a major feature film release on a worldwide scale that has never been done before.
The Resurrection is Bible-based and will tell the story after Jesus’ crucifixion, his burial and His resurrection from the dead as well as the accounts of the witnesses who encountered him on earth before His ascendance to Heaven. The film will be shot in Israel and produced at the highest level of film-making quality with a world class script, an A-level production team, top-notch casting and actors, and a second to none music composer and marketing team.
Every aspect of this film relies on the direction of God through prayerful discernment and the faith of a unified team of believers. Everyone, we pray that this site would go viral; I believe that everyone donating will share in the fruit of millions of souls coming to Christ as a result of this film.
Its been an exciting month so far, here is a quick update: We've been working with & scouting several artists for art pieces that we could use on the site and maybe even as giveaways. For a script guideline, I would recommend the last 8 chapters of the book The Desire of Ages, by Ellen G. White.
David, I just posted to World Net Daily that we, the CAP Movie Ministry (www.capalert.com), have been analyzing films for parents, grandparents, pastors, youth leaders and more since 1995 and have prepared analysis of more than 1500 titles so far: that The Passion of the Christ <http://www.capalert.com/capreports/passionofthechrist.htm> is one. I am intensely looking forward to preparing a CAP analysis of The Resurrection more than you can possibly imagine to construct a scoring comparative of The Resurrection with the Passion of the Christ. I will even offer a free pre-release analysis of The Resurrection if you would send us a screener's DVD of The Resurrection. You would be welcome to use our analysis as you see fit to promote this project. Note that once we prepare an analysis, the report is posted to our archives and stays there as long as the CAP ministry is alive. That may be of help to you in your promotion of the film. Maybe your social media campaign could use our analysis of your film. I will, in your words, by the massive communication ministry with which Jesus has commissioned me, serve as a Spiritual Producer for the project.

Dear Mr. Wood, I am truly excited about The Resurrection. I am a recovering alcoholic,drug addict,violent person and so on. I have cut my movie watching drasticly do to the filth that is out there. It is encouraging to see Norris,Yourself,and others at the forefront in Hollywood wanting to make a difference. I will be a prayer warrior for The Resurrection. The Lord has resurrected me from the pit of hell,and out of prison for that reason I know that Jesus is the Christ and that He will overcome this world. A highschool classmate of mine from Whittier Christian had a near death experience as a L.A County Firemen. The reason I am telling you this is that he is in the film industry as a special effects photographer. His first film gig he was referred by the great Clint Eastwood himself. He’s done films such as Ghostbusters II,believe he just did III,and MIB the new one. His name is Ceasar Alvarez,awesome brother in Christ. I will be letting him know that I plugged him in. Dear David I am from New Zealand and I left my home for my children to attend the Traditional Latin Mass here in the States. Would you believe the first year I was here I met Mel Gibson's Mother's (Anne) her best friend from Australia. I could not believe this. This is my son who received his First Holy Communion two years ago – my daughter is receiving ehrs in about 1 month. I am presently writing a script about the corruption in the Catholic Church. I would like to know what the timeline of the resurrection is that you are using…..if it is not a full three days and a full three nights then I can not support this effort as the only sign given was this: King James Bible (Cambridge Ed.)
But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: Matthew 12:39. If you teach anything else then you teach that He was NOT The Messiah. The Bible tells of a wed. death and a between the evenings after Sabbath (Sat.) resurrection. Because people have lost and forgotten the Feasts of YHVH in Leviticus 23, (and the true Sabbath), they have lost the keys to knowledge.
I think it would be god thing if u could get it out of your hands and put it into his.
